I have this really specific headcanon of John and Sherlock as a couple in uni and they have a stupid fight and they ignore each other for what feels like days (in reality it’s only been like 5 hours) and their both too proud to make the first move. So Sherlock’s in his dorm, lounging around lazily in his crop top and John’s joggers which are too short for him and Don’t Dream It’s Over by Crowded House starts playing on the radio and Sherlock gets emotional because what if John doesn’t want to see him anymore? What if it really is over? And then his thoughts are interrupted by the door opening and John’s slipping into the room, because he heard the song on his radio too and he didn’t want them to be over at all. When he sees Sherlock all watery eyed and pouty, he just pulled him into his arms and kisses him softly, before they just end up swaying in time to the music, Sherlock’s chin hooked on John’s shoulder and John’s nose buried in Sherlock’s hair.
